The art of oneiromancy is the study of spiritual life awareness through the power of dreams which teaches us that dreams do possess a significance to each of us that may not be immediately obvious and in reality should not be ignored. Dreams should be considered as another form of language and through the teachings of oneiromancy it is possible for a spiritual counselor to translate what a dream is saying. However as with all things spiritual dream interpretation is not straightforward and requires a comprehensive understanding of the individual who has the dream. The reason for this is to better understand the life of the individual and thereby more easily identify what is portrayed through dreams.
However because dreams do share some generic content capable of being identified as a pattern, for example elements which include: fire, wind and water often play a role within dreams. It is from common ingredients that the spiritual counselor is able to build up a kind of alphabet whereby they can associate certain images with actions or events. However every language requires its conjunctions, symbols which make the images identified become joined in a way that will be comprehensible. Herein is a difficulty with dream interpretation because unless we sleep through a recurring dream many of us quickly forget most of a dream's composition while the fundamental essence may remain with us forever. It seems reasonable to suspect that our dreams comprise features that are all present because they all represent some fundamental part of the message that needs to be translated by the spiritual counselor if accuracy is to be achieved.
A method by which the message contained within a dream may be ascertained is by the dreamer writing down as much about the content of their dream as possible immediately upon waking. It is possible that even if an individual is not having a recurring dream the same message may continue to be sent to them using alternative images. The point here is that the spiritual aspects of human existence operate on a different plane, one that is not easily interchangeable with our material presence hence we have problems understanding what we are told. A spiritual counselor should be able to determine whether what may appear as incompatible dreams actually do reiterate identical or similar messages.
If a dream causes concern it is reasonable to suppose that it does so because the spirit dimension of an individual existence is aware of something that it believes its physical presence should know. The best approach in such circumstances is to contact a bona fide spiritual counselor who may be able to shed insight into the message contained within a dream.
