Eerie Nostradamus future predictions

Nostradamus is by far the most widely read and well known prophet in the history of the planet. His predictions still make headline news today, and are still considered to be largely correct, though the predictions are often misinterpreted and are in many cases very vague, some of them have been chillingly accurate. Some of them, in fact, have been downright concise.
This sixteenth century prophet is more famous today perhaps than he was back in the fifteen hundreds when he was alive and writing his famous quatrains. He is attributed for hiding and predicting world events based on his work, and for tipping off some things people today call the Bible Code. Nostradamus has been credited with predicting everything from the death of Kennedy to the assassination of Lincoln to his very own demise predicted to his assistant at the end of his last night on Earth. Nostradamus future predictions reportedly predicted the Gulf War, the great fire of London, Nostradamus future predictions actually are purported to have nailed just about everything that has ever happened, but the fact of the matter is that, indeed, most of these things are not the case if you listen to historians. Most historians and students of Nostradamus' work and Nostradamus future predictions tend to agree that in a large part, the quatrains are so vague and open that they can be interpreted in many ways, and that most often, Nostradamus is either misquoted or credited with predicting things that he did not predict. Certainly Nostradamus is as controversial today as he was in his own day when he was frequently persecuted by people who thought his practices to be evil. Nostradamus future predictions, however, were probably not his greatest contribution to mankind. In fact, Nostradamus practiced medicine during a time when the Black, or Bubonic plague, consumed more than a quarter of the known population. Nostradamus instilled general common sense practices such as removal of the infected dead and utilizing cleanliness procedures that probably helped to stem the tide of that devastating illness. Still, to this day, it is the Nostradamus future predictions that bring Nostradomus his world wide acclaim. In particular, it is the Armageddon and doomsday prophecies that Nostradamus is most noted for and most revered for, even though we are still here.

Nostradamus predictions 2006 are no doubt attributed for predicting the jihad as well as, reportedly, the beginning of world war III, though we are nearly out of time, and world war three has yet to break out, affairs certainly are tumultuous at best. The fact of the matter is that through translation discrepancies, human error, and purposeful misreadings, a lot of Nostradamus' words have been distorted throughout the years. His books are still available in almost all languages so you certainly can read them for yourself, and a large chunk of them are available online, however, again, a massive portion of these are as distorted as the quatrains that have been misinterpreted down through the course of time.

In fact, Nostradamus' work is probably the most distorted writer in history other than the great existentialist philosopher Frierich Nietzsche, whose work was twisted and distorted into what became known as the basis of the fascist Nazi party. Nostradamus' words often appear as fodder and false headlines on the many scandal sheets that you can find in just about any supermarket. It seems whenever J-Lo is out of dissolving relationships or Brittany Spears is acting normal, that Nostradamus predictions start showing up front and center in the gossip rags.
