Bible code predictions have become quite the vogue thanks to some seriously popular books and films, fictitious ones, written on the subject. Bible codes are supposed to be codes in the bible that give clues to an existing and all powerful God that wrote the book himself. They are supposed to be codes that support the existence of God and can be mathematically found, or they are supposed to be codes that prove other things, such as Christ, that were written about in the Bible.
Bible code has been a hotly debated topic for quite a few years now. Many people find it to be a total croc and there are thousands of websites created to debunk the theory as inanity, but the fact is, its one of those things that cannot concretely be proven, and cannot summarily be dismissed. It is not much different, than say, discussing Nostradamus. Nostradamus was a prophet that wrote thousands of prophecies, many of which seemingly have come true, many of which have not, all of which seem so open in content and so vague that its hard to tell if there is any validity or not. Same with general horoscopes listed in papers that predict for entire zodiacs. There is not enough info available for one person to predict how billions of people are going to get through the day based on what month they were born in, so horoscopes that are written for just a basic Zodiac are aloof by design. Bible codes seem, at very best, aloof in nature. The fact is though, in this day and age of computers and the internet and mass technology, God himself could descend from the Heavens and proclaim the Earth as his new realm, and people wouldn't believe it. I could see God on Oprah now trying to explain that he is in fact the grand creator, and is quite hurt by the disbelief in his existence since he was sitting right there before us all. Perhaps Oprah would give him a car and make him pay the taxes on the vehicle, who knows, but if that happened and if that was predicted by someone that read it in a Bible code before it occurred there would still be somebody out there to swear that it was all a hoax, that God did not exist, and that this Bible code madness was the work of a quack. People just don't believe in things like they used to. To most people faith is a disposable word that can be invoked when you need something and discarded once you get it, until of course you need something again, then its time to march that old lucky faith right back out and beg its forgiveness so you get your way. Bible codes require quite the leap of faith.
