Winnipeg Girls And The Art of Dating In CanadaO-k, stop the presses! Winnipeg, I'm sure is a bustling metropolis. I'm sure it's a happening kind of place, with Universities and shopping malls and lots of things to do. So why is it that when I typed in "Nightlife in Winnipeg" into my computer's search engine, I only spit back three locations? You saw that correctly. Three locations! Here I am trying to get a fix on the dating availability of Winnipeg girls, get a grasp of their likes and dislikes, and I come up with only 3 locations for Winnipeg night spots? And one of them is a place called Bullwinkles! Come on now! Do you honestly think you're going to get laid in a place called Bullwinkles? I know we're in far North and it gets cold and everything, but there are women in Winnipeg, right? Right?
I logged on to a few Winnipeg forums and got interesting responses from several people. No one had a lot to say regarding Winnipeg girls though. I did get an idea that the people are pretty friendly and that's important if you want to meet someone. Here's an actual response that is pro-Winnipeg but again, has me wondering where all the Winnipeg girls are:
".. Winnipeg is SUPER CHEAP! I was really surprised by how cool Winnipeg actually is. Lots of old apartment buildings... the type they call in Vancouver 'heritage buildings' that w-peg and points east call 'normal buildings' There is actually an pretty cool arts scene, my friend I stayed there with was kind of on the inside, so maybe it is not so thick on the ground if it hadn't been pointed out to me. Some cool music happening right now- It is cold in winter, oh well too bad, but it is beautiful in summer... and Osborn village as a little residential quarter holds up well against any other little quarters I've seen. I jumped off the train on a hot sunny Sunday- right next to the forks area-which seems a success story. Sitting in a cabana WITHIN THE PARK listening to reggae band and lots of smiley happy people... I thought I was in the tropics... they also have Grand Beach, which is a huge beach on a lake so big the horizon is water- imagine California style without the waves.. very popular for youth. 10000s of people. The people are humble. It is multi-cultural and it is CHEAP. I promise you amazing Ethiopian dinner and beers cost $2.50 and dinner was less than $10..."
O-k. Some useful Intel in this message. A nice beach and lots of humble people. Great arts scene. Reggae music, Ethiopian food and cheap beer. Sounds o-k, but I'm not exactly penciling in an appointment because it doesn't sound like a very intense social environment. In fact, if a person is looking for sex Winnipeg is apparently not the place to be, better to hop a train and head to Toronto. Aaak!
Well it's back to the Winnipeg girls singles ads. I found a few that were kind of interesting. One of which was actually free. "Free" is not something you generally find a lot of these days. Certainly free ads for Winnipeg singles is not something you run across very often. This particular one was ok. Lots and lots of Winnipeg singles. All of them looking for a partner or something more, quite a few just interested in sex Winnipeg style. Which I'm not sure yet what that is, but probably involves a fur coat and snow shoes.
But I digress. Getting back to the singles ads for Winnipeg girls. Why is it that these people have such a hard time finding a partner or a friend? It's almost tragic, because I saw pictures of some really attractive women on these sights. I also saw some photos of Winnipeg girls that could stop traffic. But that doesn't mean they don't deserve to find someone meaningful in their lives, just the same.
