The costs for this adventure in Michigan are as follows: General Admission is $24.99; Junior Admission (Under 48 inches) is $16.99; Seniors are 62 & older is $10.99 and Children 2years old and under are free. However the cost goes down after 3:00 p.m. General Admission is brought down to $16.99 while the rest of the groups stay the same. However, there are some tube and locker fees. Single Tubes rent for $5.00; Double/Triple Tubes are $7.00; Small Lockers rent for $6.00 and the large lockers rent for $7.00. These prices do not include $2.00 fee for Tube rentals, or a $5.00 fee for deposit on lockers. Lifejackets are free with a $5.00 deposit.
Now that you have the basic news of cost, it’s time to enter the park. The safety of each guest and the employees is important to the park’s management, please read and obey all park signs and follow lifeguard instructions. The water slides and attractions are interactive and not passive. There is a height requirement for most of the rides, and you must be 48 inches tall. Many rides are dynamic and thrilling, and each ride is rated according to high speed, steep drops, sharp turns and other forces. The word to the wise is to pay attention to the height requirements measurements are made with shoes on in the ride park and off in the water park. For everyone’s safety if you have a weak or non swimmer they will need a life jacket.
Some of the fun you will have will be on the Grand Rapids, a 1500 foot long rapid river ride that carries riders through a rocky canyon filled with geysers and a waterfall. As a rider you will be challenged as your raft brave churning rapids while navigating the twists and turns as if you were on an actual river canyon. At the amusement park is a ride called Shivering Timbers, a world class roller coaster that is ranked as one of the top three wood roller coasters in the world. Available at three different locations are three wave pools with a variety of wave sizes and frequencies of waves. Food stands, miniature golf, and gift shops make the day even fuller as you continue your adventure in Michigan.
