Added: 08/14/2007

Are you getting tired if spending family time in front of the television? Do you want to do something fun and educational with your family? Then this is definitely the game for you. The name of the game is who in the world am I? It is way easy to play and your children will love it. This game will require some thinking and some knowledge of famous people, so it is best for it to be played by children over third grade.

This is definitely the game for you. The name of the game is who in the world am I. This is a game that is most suited for people over the age of ten, because that will give them time to become more familiar with history and people in history. You have to know a lot about people who are in the know, and that is a critical point of this game. The first thing you need to do is put a list of groups that people can belong in or to. Some examples could be, pop culture icons, famous presidents, or even a list of family friends. You put these group labels into a hat. Then, you let someone who is playing the game to draw a group out of the hat, so you know what kind of people to think up to play the game. The Next step would be to think up a few people. The amounts of people all depend on the number of persons playing who in the world are you? My group is famous people of the American culture, some will be famous as in television and things like that, and then there are the ones who have helped out our country. I will be using Paris Hilton, James Brown, Abraham Lincoln, and Susan B. Anthony. You will write these people’s names on the back of a book mark and then tape you will tape it to someone’s back. The person wearing the bookmark is not allowed to see the name of the person they have themselves, but everyone else who is playing who in the world am I is allowed to see it so that they can answer questions. You may ask any person who is playing the game a yes or no question about your person’s name on the bookmark taped to your back, and you are only aloud to ask one question per person. There will be outline questions told to you to help you discover who you are incase you cannot think of any on your own. The entire point of this game is to discover who in the world you are.
Example questions are like: is this person a woman. If the answer is yes, then it is either Susan B. Anthony or Paris Holton. The next question could be is this person on any money. If the answer is no, then it is Paris Hilton. If the answer was yes, then it was Susan B. Anthony. If the answer to the first question was yes, then the answer to the second question is no, your person is James Brown. If the answer to the second question is yes, then it is Abraham Lincoln.
After you can guess who you are, you get the person who heard you guess correctly to take off your book mark for you. Then, you take it up and put it in the designated basket, and the first person to do this wins the game. Just because there is a winner does not mean that you stop. Most people keep playing until everyone is done. The winner can receive a prize, or they can just having bragging rights about how smart they are. You know who those types of people are.
This game is used by many people and played at many different events. Teachers often use it so that they can help their students to learn more about their people in history that they happen to be studying. This game can be played at various other events like: cook outs, slumber parties, birthday parties, church events, and even as something to pass the time when you are bored.
This game is great, and you will love it. It is good for the family to play when they need more family time. You can use anything to play: famous presidents, pop icons, friends, anyone. This is a great way to pass the time and bond with your family. It will bring you closer and you can learn more things about people that you do not know.
