Finding a location on our planet that remains unspoiled by human development, especially in the United Kingdom seems to grow harder each year. Fortunately local government together with the National Trust recognize a need to preserve what nature has provided and endeavor to conserve regions of natural beauty in order that people may experience an environment much as nature created it. Travel & vacations of a natural world experience are well catered for and provide as much of a guarantee as can be found anywhere against any sense of disappointment.
Coldfield Park is just such a region. Unique and stunning in appearance Park Sutton offers an experience like no other on Planet Earth for those with a desire to temporarily step back in time in order to understand natural evolution in line with man’s own development. Unfamiliarity with rugged terrain is quickly forgotten by the breathtaking presence of undiluted panoramas that capture and hold the attention of all who witness this natural environment.
By following the recommended trails set out for visitors you will not be required to carefully consider fitness, ability and the essential resources that more exhaustive treks found in other parts of the world require. Visitors can choose for themselves the routes they wish to follow in order to see all that is on offer, whilst the guidance available has been carefully considered as being the most worthwhile. Working with the environment in order to preserve its original appearance is fundamental to any conservation exercise and Coldfield Park is no exception. Facilities for vehicle based camping are designed to provide modern amenities without denigrating the natural appearance of the landscape. With some camp sites not connected to a mains electricity supply alternative solar powered showers are installed together with flushing toilets, fresh water supply and rubbish disposal and communal fireplaces. The provision of these facilities makes Coldfield Park a particularly user friendly environment in which to participate in an active adventure vacation. In addition the facilities provided have been designed to be suitable for disabled access.
It is worth noting that the recent heavy rains have caused flooding in some areas but that over recent weeks much of the damage caused has been made good. An Indian type summer in 2007 with warm weather covering most of the country has raised questions about weather changes that might make it more useful for tourists to visit Park Sutton during the late summer months preferably to the previously held belief for good weather found in earlier periods such as May and June.
