Where Many Students Pay Rent, San Jose, CA.

High school students who hope to pursue a career in the computer field could benefit from reading the following article. It does not deal with the class work at any University; it deals more with student housing. It is primarily for the student who plans to rent. San Jose, CA., the town where San Jose State University is located, has one special place where a student would not want to rent.

The phrase "Silicon Valley" is normally associated with men and women working at computers. One seldom gives much thought to where those people live. Nor does one normally consider where those computer experts might have received their training. Yet information on housing and training holds great importance for all of those who want to study or work in the Silicon Valley. Many find housing or training in San Jose.

San Jose is a great place to own a home. It is also a wonderful place to rent. San Jose, CA. provides housing to many students, most of whom rent lodging in the area. Most of those students attend San Jose State University. There they acquire the knowledge and skills that will help them to get jobs either in the Silicon Valley, or at Almaden Research Center.

Apartment owners are glad to get the money from the students who rent. San Jose, CA also has home owners who rent. San Jose, CA has many homes where students rent one or more rooms. There is one very large home, however, that does not appeal to any students. The owner of that home would have great difficulty getting money by offering a room to rent. San Jose, CA has caused people to turn away from that home.

Let's look more closely at just why this place is more feared than other homes. San Jose, CA, or more precisely the residents of San Jose, has given that home a bad name. The town and its residents have decided to call it Winchester Mystery House. It is the former home of Sarah L. Winchester.

Perhaps in 1884 Sarah wanted to get money from students who would pay rent. San Jose, CA does not reveal in its history why Sarah sought to expand the size of her home, but she had many construction workers devoting the bulk of their time to her expansion project. What they created was something more unique than the other homes. San Jose, CA. now has a huge mansion that contains many unusual features. For example this mansion contains a staircase that leads to the ceiling.

The large number of strange features in the Winchester Mystery House explains the reason that it provides no income from students who rent. San Jose, CA has many students however, who are well aware of the size of this mansion. They know that its 160 rooms would be more than enough space for a fair number of students.

Not long after the expansion of the Winchester House there was another construction project completed within San Jose. This was neither a home nor an apartment building. This was a hotel. San Jose, California and its residents chose to name this hotel after T.S Montgomery, a railroad tycoon. There has been a slight change in the location of that hotel. San Jose, California has moved the hotel over a few blocks. Now that it is in its new location, the officials of San Jose hope to have it restored.

Officials of San Jose are no doubt hoping that no ancestors of previous local contractors   remain in the area and pay rent. San Jose, CA does not need someone like that living in the area. The city does not want someone like the guy who worked on the Winchester House to build strange features in the Montgomery Hotel.
