What is a sexualized friend?What exactly is a sexualized friend? What does it mean? A sexualized friendship means that you are friends with someone who wants to remain uncommitted but have sex. Also, know as a casual friendship or a casual relationship. Some people refer to as a friend with benefits or a beanie. It is more than a one-night stand but less then a full time committed relationship.
A no strings attached sexual friendship. If you are looking for an honest, open friend that you can also have sex with without the worry of certain diseases. Then you would probably be the perfect person for one of these sexual friendships. Some people are not at all fond of commitment, which can lead to long lonely lives. A sexualized friend could be in store for these people other wise unavailable to fully commit their selves to someone else.
You may think why people would be scared of commitment but ok with having one partner. The answer to that is that most of these people have more than just one sexualized friend. As always in any form of a relationship or friendship. You should be honest so that those you choose to have sex with no about possible other partners. This helps prevent the spread of certain STD’s.
Some of these sexualized friendships go on for years while others don’t last for more than a month. Sometimes you want some affection without the worry of a committed relationship. Therefore, you call up a sexualized friend. This may sound great, more for men then for women. However, will it make you happy?
Since the dawning of time. It has been a goal for man to meet woman, man and woman marry, and then start a family. So what happens when you just cant picture yourself married. However, you still want the satisfaction of a woman or a man. Therefore, you build this sexualized friendship between you and friend. What happens when one of you falls in love? What do you do then? How can you stop fate? Most people would not drop a friend, especially one that has been in your life for quite sometime.
Therefore, you have one or two options. You obviously cannot go on having sex with your sexualized friend because to them it is just not really a friendship type of sex. It means more to them and they tend to find more romance in just being with you. So now, you have to agree to just be platonic friends. What does that mean? A platonic friend simply means you are sure you want this person as your friend but you know that’s all they can be. They’re can be nothing sexual going between the two of you. That way you get to keep your friend but you don’t have to be committed.
A sexualized friend is usually someone who you can trust. Therefore, it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to find someone at a bar and try to convince him or her to be your sexualized friend. There are of course many things you should worry about when having a sexualized friend. Some of things, are the same things you worry about when you have a normal relationship. These things are getting pregnant, transmitting an STD, and of course, there’s always a risk of losing your friend if something goes wrong between you and your newfound sexualized friend.
