New Year in Las Vegas is probably one of the busiest times in Las Vegas and the casinos are packed as well as all of the restaurants and hotels. For New Year in Las Vegas all of the top talent that is seen all around the Vegas strip get together for performances at all of the hotels and casinos for the millions of people gathered for New Year in Las Vegas. David Copperfield, BB King, and even Tony Orlando will all be performing for New Year’s in Las Vegas. For those that just don’t want to deal with the huge crowds that will be roaming the streets at midnight many of the hotels and casinos offer something they call New Year’s At Noon where they will do the same celebration at noon that they will be doing at midnight. Of course, if enough hotels and casinos start doing New Year’s At Noon then that kind of eliminates the “beat the crowd” purpose of it but its all Vegas and it is all good!
There are some practical pieces of advice you should be given before you get try New Year’s in Las Vegas. First is planning. New Year’s in Las Vegas is about the most crowded place in the country and Las Vegas is second only to New York City as the place people want to be on New Year’s. So if you really want to get out to Las Vegas on New Year’s then plan way in advance. It may be a good idea to start looking into accommodations at least a year in advance. Some places may not let you make reservations that far out but if you can find a nice hotel that does then go for it. Once you have your hotel reservation, and not until you have your hotel reservation, then buy you plane ticket. Plane tickets bought way in advance can save you a lot of money so be sure you have your accommodations in Las Vegas taken care of and then get your cheap plane ticket. Once you get there pace yourself. Las Vegas is one of the party capitals of the world and they absolutely know how to do the ultimate party night of the year. You don’t want to be passed out in your hotel room when the rest of Vegas is ringing in the New Year so go easy and make sure you don’t take it all in too early and wind up missing out on New Year’s in Las Vegas.
