I don't think there is anything simpler than a civil wedding ceremony at City Hall. A friend went through the motions at City Hall and they were in and out in less than an hour. I don't even think you can find that kind of service in Las Vegas. In sharp contrast to this is the tradition-filled, several hours long Japanese wedding, that comes complete with specific modes of dress, lots of flute music and a serious looking bride and groom.
