The Motorcycle Diaries tells the story of a journey by motorcycle (of course) across South America. The Motorcycle Diaries is a great movie that not only will entertain you, but it will tell you a real story. To me those are the best types of movies. This is a movie that follows Mr. Guevara on his journey on a motorcycle across South America. The movie follows the whole story on how he became the famous Marxist revolutionary who was better known as Che Guevara. The movie The Motorcycle Diaries shows his development of his political outlooks on life. Of course, his revolutionary exploits are never actually talked about in the film (unless you watch the credits at the end). The Motorcycle Diaries is actually based on the book by Che Guevara called Diarios de Motocicleta. Of course, it is also based on the book by his friend Alberto Granado that was called Con el Che por America Latina. His friend Alberto Granado was with him during his trip by motorcycle. In the movie, The Motorcycle Diaries, Che Guevara is played by a Mexican actor who goes by the name of Gael Garacia Bernal. His friend Alberto is played by an actor by the name of Rodrigo de la Sena who was an Argentine actor. This is one of the best movies that I saw that followed the book that it was based on. Lots of movies are about books, but none follow the book like The Motorcycle Diaries does.

The Motorcycle Diaries was directed by Walter Salles who is Brazilian. The movie was written by Puerto Rican. The Motorcycle Diaries was an international co-production which could have made the movie even better. I love when moves are international co-productions because you are reaching a bigger number of people. The companies that made it were from Argentina, Germany, United Kingdom, United States, Chile, Peru, and France. Also, it is worth noting that the film's executive producers were Robert Redford, Rebecca Yeldham, and Paul Webstera. This is great for the movie because Robert Redford is a man that is very well talk about in the United States. Any movie that he has a part in helping make, everyone is going to rush out and see it. This was no different for The Motorcycle Diaries. This was a film that was made to be great and it was. Everyone put a lot of work into this movie and it paid off. You cannot ask for more than that whenever you are making a movie. This was a perfect movie and is a must see for everyone.

If you have not seen The Motorcycle Diaries then you do not know what you are missing. This is a movie that has more information packed into it than you can absorb in one sitting. This is a movie that you are going to have to watch a few times before you can get the full effect of it. Do not worry though, every time you watch this movie it gets better and you notice something else. Not everyone knows of The Motorcycle Diaries but that can be said about any film. This is a movie that you have to go see, and if you do you will be happy you did. Go out and rent this movie today, they more than likely have it at your local Blockbuster.
