Did you know the yellow roses symbolize friendship? Therefore, it seems as if the Yellow Rose of Texas is a symbol of friendship for both Texans and visitors of Texas. In addition to the Yellow Rose of Texas being a symbol of friendship and hospitality, eating a meal with people is also a token of friendship. In fact, many Texans invite their friends, family, and guests over to their homes in order to enjoy a good hearty barbeque. A great barbeque is usually very messy and laid back. A Texas barbeque usually takes place outside in the summertime with all of the meat being cooked on a barbeque.
