The Royal Parks of London are lands originally owned by the King and queen of England and used for recreational purposed by the royal family. As London become more and more urbanized, eight of these natural areas were designated as free access grounds and were elevated to status of Public Royal Park. As a result, there is now a Royal Park in eight different areas of London, each offering a beautiful and relaxing environment to its visitors.
