With all of the poor and needy people throughout the world, the world of refugee international organizations is never finished. If not for this wonderful, caring people many of the world's poor would not live to be adults, and sadly, many still don't because there is just not enough money to take care of all of the needy all over the world. Everyone needs to do a part to alleviate hunger throughout the world.
For many of the nation’s poor, having even one meal a day is a struggle, and those that do manage one meal a day do so sparingly and with the cheapest of food items, usually lacking in essential nutrients. Without the help of refugee international organizations such as the Peace Corps, many of the nation’s poor would not have proper education, medical care, or nutrition. They need continued funds to continue their work, but the economic situations are bleak all over the world, thus affecting those who may otherwise be able to donate time or money. The figures are increasing in numbers, and unless civilized world can group together in a global effort to wipe out hunger in the rest of the world, the problem will become worse.
Unfortunately, far too many people have the feeling that it’s not their problem, it’s the government’s problem, and the government should solve it. Yet these same people cry that the government is spending too much money taking care of other countries and not enough to take care of the domestic poor. For those people the only answer is that you can’t have it both ways. No amount of refugee international help is going to be beneficial to these nations unless everyone helps in the fight against poverty. Each of us has our share of financial setbacks, but it is our duty as a human being to help those who are less fortunate. If you have a roof over your head, food on your table at every meal, and clothes to keep you warm, you have more than many of the nation’s poor who sometimes have no warm clothing, no shoes, and barely enough food for one meal a day, let alone three.
As fellow human beings, we need to join with the organizations that sponsor refugee international efforts to wipe out world hunger. We need to look around at our own lives and give a little of what we have to someone who barely has enough food to eat for one day. It is not an option, it is a requirement because only if everyone gives just a little bit can the world hunger problem be solved. Even if you only contribute a dollar a month to these relief efforts, if everyone does the same thing, it will make a great difference. Remember, for every person who is only able to contribute a dollar, there are others who will contribute ten times that amount or more. Never think that any contribution is too small because when you share that amount with others, it has a more lasting effect. In many of the third world countries, a dollar can feed a family for four for an entire day. Think about that the next time you hesitate to donate because you can only spare some loose change.
