The Swedish Brides Bridal ShowWhen planning a Swedish marriage the most important thing that the Swedish brides look for is the perfect dress. The dress will always be the vocal point of the wedding, even though the groom may be standing at the altar waiting for his bride no one will talk about how he was dressed at the end of the ceremony. But when the music starts to play and the bride starts to walk down the aisle everyone will turn to look at her. Even the groom will turn to look at his bride, the groom is not allowed to look at the ride at anytime before the wedding, because that is bad luck and it could ruin their marriage. The bride's dress will be the vocal point of everyone's conversation, either the following day or during the after ceremony dance.
At this years bridal show they are showing all of the latest fashions. There will be the traditional dresses with the long trains and lace. There will also be the latest styles. The mermaid wedding dress, and the midriff two piece wedding dress. These are just some of the dresses that a Swedish bride can buy and use for her own wedding. All these different dresses make people realize that there is more then the traditional standard dress that you always see on films or on the television.
They plan to have a huge turnout for the bridal show. There are many Swedish brides who have registered to attend. This shows that there are many Swedish people that have a wedding coming up and they will go around the bridal show looking for that perfect dress to go with their wedding. Others may come along to the bridal show just to have a look at all the fancy dresses that they have. If a reader sees this they will think to themselves "Wow someone all the way from Sweden came to see these dresses. I should go and check these dresses out if people are flying from half way around the world to see them" So having the media there is not just for show, but also for a good publicity stunt for the future.
They also plan to have photographers from Swedish brides magazine and also from the top Swedish magazines. They have asked the planner of the bridal show to ask of few of the Swedish brides if they would be willing to be interviewed. So having newspaper and magazine columnists from your own country will also highlight the bridal show in many other countries rather then just the United States of America
Some of the models that are modeling the dressed have been Swedish brides and have agreed to be interviewed. The notoriety for the bridal show for Swedish brides is growing in popularity. This is the fifth year it has been held. They are planning to have the bridal show in a different location next year. They are even considering having a real Swedish marriage take place in the middle of the show.
