There are a lot of different contact sports out there, and just because you do not know how they work, does not mean that they are not great. One contact sport that a lot of people have heard of, but have never actually watched or played, would be the Sumo sport. This is a game that has very simple rules, yet it is very hard to master. In fact, the whole sport dates back far in the history of Japan. The rules of the Sumo sport are easy to remember. To win you must force the other player out of the ring (also called a dohyo), or you can try and force them to touch the ground with something other than there feet. That means that if your hands, knees, or any other body part besides your feet should touch the floor during the Sumo game, then you are out. Not many people talk about this sport in the United States of America, but it is a sport that many people know about. In Japan, however, this game is still very popular, and they play it all over the place. Of course, if you like to watch the Sumo sport, then you are going to have to watch it in Japan. This is because Japan is the only place in the world that still plays the Sumo sport professionally. This is a very great sport to watch, and I bet you have never seen another sport like it. Sure, you have wrestling in America, but that hardly even counts as a sport. That is because most people that watch wrestling, are not watching real wrestling, they are watching that fake stuff that you see on TV all the time. These are more like soap operas and acrobatics than wrestling matches.

To the Japanese, however, the Sumo sport is looked at as martial arts. In fact, it is looked at as modern martial arts, which I think is kind of funny. This is because the Sumo sport has been around for almost the whole history of Japan. The fact that they are now calling it a modern martial arts, is something that seems funny to me. However, that does not take away from the fact that this sport is cool to watch. Of course, it is not easy being a Sumo wrestler because you are required to live a certain way. In fact, they have to live in what is called a heya, where everything from their daily lives has to follow very strict tradition. If you do not do this, you are not allowed to partake in the Sumo sport. Everything from your meals, to the way that you are to dress, all has to be about tradition. I know this seems crazy to some of the people in America, but that is just the way it is. In fact, I think that is shows why this sport is so great to watch. These Sumo wrestlers do not just wake up one morning and say, “ you know what, I am going to be a Sumo wrestler.” No, they have to go through many different things, just to be able to be called a Sumo wrestler. However, this makes it a great sport to watch, and it is like nothing you have ever seen. I very much enjoy the sport, and I think that is why I try and watch it whenever it is on TV. Before I die I would love to go to Japan, and see a real Sumo match right in front of me. The Sumo sport is great.

I know that this is not a sport that you may know a lot about, or ever want to see for yourself, but you should give it a try. The Sumo sport is gaining fans all the time, because people watch it once, and then you get hooked. A lot of the times, the matches are over very quickly, so I guess you can say that it is a very fast paced sport. Many people around the world love to watch the Sumo sport. Maybe you should see what all the fuss is about.
