Becoming aware of the soul that resides within is an important personal goal that aids in the achievement of increasing individual intuitive senses that would otherwise remain dormant. Esoteric Astrology is interested in the individual who is prompted by their soul to commit to actions relevant to their destiny. Using the basic principles of astrology which are the Sun, Moon and Ascendant to determine the celestial influences at work from an individual’s birth provides a starting point. Esoteric Astrology is a progression of the basic principles and reflects what is happening only when an individual senses their soul stimulating their progress towards a specific direction.

Importantly Esoteric Astrology only becomes applicable when an individual acknowledges the presence of their soul by feeling the influence that it is placing on them. Astrology is a science that requires open mindedness in order that individuals do not restrict or limit their search for understanding, while Esoteric Astrology deals with those few individuals who acknowledge the presence of their soul and its developing influence on their lives without hesitation. This type of intuitive sense is referred to as esoteric meaning, a mechanism by which the reason an individual exists is recognized by the individual.

Esoteric astrologers have possibly one of the most difficult tasks relating to astrology because the research of their subject deals with a higher level of understanding than is ordinarily the case. Individuals who believe they recognize their esoteric meaning need to qualify their reasons for doing so by identifying behaviours that have been influenced by their soul. The process is long, slow and tiring because esoteric astrologers can only be confident that an individual is correct about the influence of their soul after a lengthy investigation of the reasons.

However, Esoteric Astrology is gradually becoming recognized as a development all astrologers should make the effort to follow. Some of the reason for this lies with the progress that astrology has made to date, by making millions of people around the world aware of the power focused on them from the celestial perspective.

Knowing whether you are in touch with your soul is a question many millions will want answered, although it is not an easy question to answer. The people in touch with their souls know it, because somehow they are granted the privilege of understanding what their soul is saying. For the purposes of this exercise let us call this of contact an ‘intuitive conversation’ or ‘intuitive understanding’. Intuitive understanding is not something that may be easily recognised even by the privileged individual. It takes time to hear and accept what a soul is saying and perhaps even longer to act upon it. Each of us possesses a soul, the spirit within, and what it understands about the existence we live is comprehensive, but our souls and human body’s although sharing the same space are separate entities that strive to make contact and only very occasionally succeed to a point whereby there is mutual acknowledgement.
