How many of you like to watch scary movies? If you said you do, then you have more than likely seen the 2002 American remake to the smash hit, The Ring. This is a movie that was directed by Gore Verbinski, who did a great job putting Koji Suzuki novel (which is what this movie is based on) on the big screen. The Ring also has some great actors in it, which could be another reason the movie was so much fun to watch. It starred Marin Henderson and Naomi Watts, and both of them did a great job. However, when a great movie comes out, it does not always get the love it needs from the critics. In fact, it received mixed reviews; however, it did get a good review from most people online. This is because the people who went to see this movie, were a fan of horror movies, and that is what The Ring was. It was a great horror film, nothing more and nothing less. Of course, it was not the story that the critics did not like, they said it was the actors. They were said to be weak and did not bring anything great to the movie itself. I for one, do not agree with that statement, and I feel like they did a great job. Of course, this is something that has to be left up to the people who view the film.

The Ring is based on a Japanese horror film, that was based on a novel by the same name. However, nothing has been lost in the remakes to this novel. Both films stay very close to the plot of the book, and I think that is what helps move the story along. The Ring is about a movie, that after you watch it you have only a few days left to live. The movie in The Ring is very scary, and this is one of the reasons why the movie itself was so scary. It has a very good creepy feel to it. However, as the story moves along you find out that there is a little bit more to the movie than meets the eye. The name for The Ring comes from what you see at the end of the movie. As the characters in the movie watch the film, when it gets to the end there is a ring of light. After that their phone rings, and when they answer they are told that they have seven days left to live. The Ring does a better job at telling the story than I do, but you can see what a great storyline it has. After watching this movie many people said that they were scared to answer their phone. In fact, it was weird for me because as I watched the movie, and the phone did ring right after they got done showing the film. Now that kind of makes your heart start pounding.

If you are into a movie that is going to give you a little bit of a scare, then you should go pick up this movie from your local Blockbuster. When you are watching The Ring be sure to do so in the dark. This really adds to the horror of the film. I like to watch scary movies with a big bowl of popcorn and a nice cold Coke. However, everyone has their different ways for watching movies so do whatever you feel is the best thing for you. I really did enjoy this movie, and I think that you will too; if you give the movie a chance. This is a little bit of an older movie (it was made back in 2002), but it is still a great horror film; and you are going to want to add it to your DVD collection. After you see this movie you are going to want to watch it more than once.
