Water is an essential nutrient for human bodies. Did you know that three fourths of the Earth’s surface is covered in water? In addition, it has been claimed by some doctors that in order to stay in optimum health people should drink about eight glasses of water a day. Water is also something that can be much fun too. People love to swim and bathe in water.
People like to and can enjoy water in its three forms all year round. Water can be a liquid, a solid, or steam. When water is solid people can and do use it to keep cool by putting the water form of ice in their glasses of ice tea, lemonade, punch, and water. They can also enjoy water in its solid form of ice by ice skating in the wintertime. People can also enjoy water in the summertime by going swimming at a swimming pool or by going swimming at a beach. Water lovers can also enjoy water in the summertime by going to some waterparks around the world. This is because there are many waterparks in the United States and abroad. Did you know that there is a waterpark in West Canada? It is called World Waterpark and it is located inside of a mall. Let’s take a closer look at this Canadian indoor waterpark.
World Waterpark was the first ever indoor waterpark. It was built in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1985 at the West Edmonton Mall as part for the 1.2 billion Phase Three expansion deal. This waterpark was called World Waterpark and it has the world’s largest indoor wave pool. This is the coolest waterpark in West Canada.
World Waterpark is North America’s largest indoor waterpark at a size of over five acres. It is a waterpark in West Edmonton, Alberta Canada in the Edmonton Mall. This mall located in Canada is one of the world’s largest shopping malls. This waterpark in West Canada is well known for its high speed water slide called the Skyscreamer; the Skyscreamer is often mistaken for the park’s tallest water slide at a height of 78 feet. However, the park’s tallest water slide is called the Twister, which stands at a height of 83 feet. This waterpark in West Canada has both water slides for the beginner and water slides for the more advanced water slider. The beginning water slides include the Dolphin and the Caribbean Cruiser. The more advanced water slides include: the Twister, and the Howler. Therefore, if you like water and waterparks, a trip to World Waterpark in West Canada would be worthwhile.
