There is no such thing as Gay Nudism

Society seems to have many views concerning nudity and sexuality. Some people are very comfortable with expressing their sexuality and very comfortable discussing nudity. In fact, many people including educators, doctors, artists, musicians, and many other people have something to say about sexuality and nudity.

Society seems to have much to say about nudity and sexuality. There are many mediums such as books, movies, and art that have tackled nudity and sexuality as their main themes. In fact, movies are rated sometimes based on the amount of nudity in them. In addition, movies are rated based on the themes in them and the theme of sexuality has been the theme of many movies recently. Many people have an issue with nudity and sexuality. In fact some elderly women walked out of the movie called the Hours because they couldn’t deal with the themes of both homosexuality and suicide in the movie. In addition, many people walked out of the movie called Shakespeare in Love because they couldn’t deal with the scenes in that movie that dealt with nudity. Therefore, as I have stated before many people are very sensitive and have issues with both sexuality, especially homosexuality and nudity. Moreover, because of this fact, it would make sense if some people had a problem with gay nudism. There is only one problem with this claim which is that I don’t think that there is any such concept as gay nudism.

There are concepts gay and nudism but I don’t think gay nudism exists. This is because I think the term gay nudism is a concept that is meant to scare some people. This is because there many people who have issues with both people who are gay and with people who are into nudism. Therefore if the two words are combined to make up the concept of gay nudism then there is the double whammy of fright and concern. I think that all of this fright and concern over gay nudism stems from a couple of prejudices and stereotypes.

The prejudices and stereotypes that cause people to be afraid of something that probably doesn’t exist may be associated with the belief that gay people are only interested in having indiscriminate sex with many partners on a weekly basis. It may also be believed that gay people are always naked and having sex on the weekends. Moreover, many people who have issues with both homosexuality and nudity might believe that homosexuals will attempt to get people to subscribe to the idea that walking around nude on beaches and in their homes nude at all times is okay and is a great way to express their freedom and creativity. In other words, homosexuals will want other people like themselves to embrace their nude bodies and there sexuality. Therefore, nudity will become commonplace in America and that will be the beginning of the end of society as we know it today. This belief is absurd.

There are homosexuals and there is nudism; however I think it is wrong to put the words gay and nudism together in order to come up with the term gay nudism. This term seems to suggest that there are many different types of nudism and that gay nudism is somehow wrong. Both being nude and being gay are both natural. In fact, it must be stated that we were all born nude so we were all born naturalists. Moreover, people were born probably believing it was okay to be nude until society instilled its views on us that nudity is somehow wrong.

There are gay naturist beaches where gay naturalists probably gather. However, there are more clothing optional or nude beaches than just the nude beaches that homosexuals gather. Also, homosexuals do go to different nude beaches where there are heterosexuals as well but we don’t know which people are gay on a nude beach because it absolutely doesn’t matter. In addition, there is no correlation between being gay and being a naturalist.
