Some pregnant stories that are told by pregnant women and their husbands or boyfriends involve pregnancy cravings. Pregnant women can crave any type of food such as Italian, Chinese, Greek, and Mexican food. I know women who craved pizza for all nine months of their pregnancies. I also know women who craved blueberries for much of their pregnancies. My mom gained fifty pounds during her first pregnancy because she told me that she craved every type of food throughout her pregnancy. One of my best friend said that she craved Tacos during her first pregnancy. Those were interesting and funny pregnant stories. Even though the pregnancy story about gaining fifty pounds was interesting and funny a healthy weight gain during pregnancy is twenty pounds. I love any type of pasta, gyros, rice, most fruits and vegetables, and many other healthy foods; therefore I think I would have some great pregnant stories, if I ever got pregnant.
Some pregnant stories involve labor and delivery stories. Some pregnant women are in labor for more than a day and other women are in labor for only a couple of hours. In fact, one of my best friends told me that her mother was in labor only eleven minutes when her mother had her on February 25th, 1970. When my friend was in labor with her daughter she was in labor for quite some time. She said that she preferred being pregnant than labor because labor hurt a lot. Going into labor hurts that is why it is called labor when women have babies. But, most women are very happy having babies so they tend to forget how bad labor hurts.
As far as pregnant stories, I prefer to hear the pregnant stories that deal with pregnancy cravings because even though I can’t relate to being pregnant I can relate to craving some type of food from time to time. In fact, just a week ago, I had a big craving for Chinese food, particularly Panda Beef which is beef in a tangerine sauce and egg flour soup. However, unlike most pregnant women I have never had any weird food cravings such as pickles and ice cream or peanut butter and tuna fish. I don’t like the pregnant stories about pregnancy cramps or labor and delivery because I get sick to my stomach when someone talks about anything that might involve pain or blood. I hope someday that I will write some pregnant stories of my own.
