Billie Paul Piper was born on September 1982 with the name Leanne Paul Piper. When she was young, she started her career as a pop singer, but later would become an English actress. Piper has been in a lot of movies and a lot of TV shows, but she is more well known for her parts in TV shows than in movies. Of course, Billie Piper is a girl who can play just about any role you give to her. Who would of guessed that this teen pop star would turn out to be an actress. Billie Piper became well known after she married Chris Evans who was a very popular DJ at the time. This is a girl that has been in a lot of things, but right now one of her most remembered roles would have to be from Doctor Who back in 2005 to 2006. In this hit show she played Rose Tyler who was a companion to the Doctor in this television series. However, she has been in a lot more things.

Maybe we should start with some of her earlier things before we jump ahead of ourself. First of all, you may remember Billie Piper from 2003 when she played Alison Crosby in The Canterbury Tales: The Miller's Tale. She also played Bella in Bella and the Boys back in 2004. After that is when she landed the role as Rose Tyler in Doctor Who for two seasons. She also played in The Rudy in the Smoke as Sally Lockhart and Mansfield Park as Fanny Price. Now, in 2007, she is still playing in many roles on TV. In fact, you may of seen her in The Secret Diary of a Call Girl as Belle De Jour or maybe in The Shadow in the North as Sally Lockhart. Of course, that was just a little bit of her television career. She has also been in a few movies as well. In 1996, she has an uncredited part in Evita, and also another uncredited part in The Leading Man (also in 1996). However, these parts lead to better things down the road. In 2004, she had a role as Angel in The Calcium Kid. Then, in 2005, she hit it up big with two movies. One being Things To Do Before You're 30 as Vicky and also Spirit Trap as Jenny. Although these movies maybe were never as well known as some of her TV shows, the important part is that she was in the movies and had a part. Getting your foot in the door in Hollywood is hard. As you can tell by the time line of her work, she never had a major role in a movie until after she had some good TV shows under he belt. Sometimes that is what it takes to get going in that business.

Billie Piper is a great actress, and I am sure she is going to go on to make many more TV shows as well as Hollywood movies. This is because she never gives up, and she is always pushing to do the best that she can do. This is what makes a great actress and someone that we will always remember. Even if she chose never to do another movie or TV show again she has already left her mark in Hollywood, and that is not something you can take away from anyone. Billie Piper will go on to do great thinks, and she has a lot of talents. In fact, I bet she will put out another CD out before everything is all said and done. That is just because she can. Lots of actors try to do music, but never really make it into the music business. Then a lot of signers try to make it into the movie business and cannot do that either. This is what makes her so great, she has pulled off the switch.
