Sex lies and videotape is a 1989 independent film, but that does not mean that it is not good. For a movie to be good it needs just a few things, and if it has these things then it will be good. It will not matter if it is an independent film or not. It needs to have a good story, a great cast, and a great director. The good things for the movie Sex lies and videotape is that it had all three of these things. I know that this movie does not sound like a movie that would be very good. In fact, it has the name of a bad porn movie if you ask me. Of course, this does not change the fact that it is a great movie. Over the course of time this movie has now been viewed as a historically significant film. It also won its fair share of awards as well. Sex lies and videotape won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival, and the main actor also got an award for being the Best Actor. One thing that this movie did get that independent films do not get a lot is an Academy Award. It got this award for Best Screenplay. I have never seen a movie as good as this one, and I have seen a lot of great movies in my time. If you have not seen this movie I think that it is one that you should go out and rent. After all, it has been out for a long time, and if you have not seen it yet you do not know what you are missing. I think that all great movies should be seen by everyone in the world. I mean, if a film has had this much work put into it then you have to see it. Sure this movie is a little bit older than some of the other movies that are out right now, but that does not mean it is not good. In fact, when movie is old like this and it still has a lot of people who like it then you know that you have a great movie. The movie Sex lies and videotape is a great film, and I think that you should give it a try. You do not know what you could be missing.

Had I not been younger at the time this movie came out I do not know if I would of watched it either, however, the story is about a man. This is not your normal man because he has a weired hobby. He likes to film women discussing their sexuality. Then he films his impact on the relationship of a married couple having problems. Well if you are a little lost at what all that means that is fine. All you need to know is that it is not a porn movie. It does have a plot to it, and it is a very good one. I never knew that an independent movie could be so good. The only problem with an independent movie is the fact that a lot of times it does not have a lot of money. This means a lot of the movies do not have a big budget, and they do not have a lot of money to get the word out there about their movie. Even so, this is one of those films that speaks for its self. I love to see an independent film do very good like this one.

I think that you should go out and rent Sex lies and videotape. Of course, this is a movie that you may want to watch before you let your family watch it. After all, this is a movie that is made mostly for adults, if you know what I mean. The whole plot to the film Sex lies and videotape is very adult, and kids probably should not watch it. Either way this is a great movie you do not want to miss.
