Everyone has heard of the sport called golf. This is a game that I am sure your father use to play, and now you may, or may not, play it as well. Even if you are not a fan of the golf game, you still probably have heard of the biggest golfing event of the year, and it is called The Masters. Now, it has been given this name for a great reason. The people that play in this event are the best golfing people in the whole world. In fact, you may have heard of one of these guys because he goes by the name of Tiger Woods. This is a man that took The Masters by storm. He is so good at this game that it is scary. However, The Masters is a hard place to play golf at, and you really have to be on your best game when you play there because anyone could win it on any hole. Watching The Masters is like watching no other golf event. You know that there is a lot riding on it, so it makes every shot really count for something. The people that do not like watching golf, usually just do not understand all the rules. However, if you show them The Masters, they are going to really get into that event. Now, I am not saying that they are going to start watching all the golf events, but I bet every year they watch The Masters when it comes on. Now, The Masters does only come around once a year, and this happens in April. This is usually a very pretty time to play golf, and the course looks amazing. Usually the grass is very green, and the flowers around the course are beautiful. Of course, everything could look really good because of the location that The Masters takes part in. You see The Masters is played in Augusta, Georgia, and I think this is why it looks so good on TV. After all, I did grow up in Georgia. I know how pretty it is.
Georgia is one of the pretties states in all of America, and this is why they hold The Masters there. When you start watching The Masters in April, you are not going to believe how great the courses look. In fact, a lot of them look so great that it looks as if they were painted on the ground. In you have a really good TV, the flowers are so bright that you feel like you can touch them. Of course, that is the whole reason why they hold The Masters in April. This is a pretty time of the year because it is spring. This is a time when all the flowers are popping up everywhere, and that really is a sight to see. However, if you do not live here, then you may never get to know what it looks like. The good news is thanks to The Masters, you do not have to live here to see the great flowers. You can watch it on TV, and at least get a good idea of how pretty it is there. Now, I must say I am not a fan of golf. I am no good at it, and the name sounds funny. I mean, why would you name a sport golf, sounds like you are choking on something. Anyway, I may be no good at playing it, but it is fun to watch. Well, I'll take that back. It is only fun to watch when you are watching The Masters.
The greatest golfing event only comes around once a year, and I think that you should be part of it. I mean, it is not very often that you get to see the best golfers in the world play together on a hard course. I know that I will never be good at playing golf, but I have just learned to live with that. One day I am sure that I will give golf another chance but, until that day comes I am just going to sit back and watch The Masters.
