When you think of the 2002 movie Spellbound, what do you think of? Well if you do not think of a movie that was nominated for an Academy Award then you need to think again. This movie was actually nominated for an Academy Award for best Documentary film. Now I did not think that this movie was going to be very good. After all, it is about a spelling bee. However, this film really puts everything in a new light. In fact, the kids in this movie can spell things that I could only dream of spelling. Of course, I am really bad at spelling. In fact, I think that is one of the main reasons why I love the movie Spellbound. I have a hard time spelling, and seeing a National Spelling Bee through the eyes of these eight competitors is a way that I would have never been able to see a spelling bee. These National Spelling Bees are a lot harder than you would ever think. These kids have to put themselves through a lot to win these things. I mean, you have to give Spellbound a chance. After all, if a movie is nominated for an Academy Award it has to be fairly good, right? I think it was a great film, and you are going to have to see it to know why the film is so great. Normally a documentary about a National Spelling Bee would be the last movie I would watch, but I really enjoyed it.

I am not one of those people that sits down and watches a lot of documentaries. However, when I did finally work up the guts to watch this film I saw what a great film it was. This is like no other movie that I have ever seen. In fact, I love movies that put things in a different light. I love being able to see things that you would normally never see. Unless you have been in a National Spelling Bee then you have never seen the things that this film shows. Spellbound gives you a front row seat to the world behind the scenes at the National Spelling Bee. Spellbound is going to take you on a ride that you have never been on before. In fact, this may be a ride that you never even dream of going on. If you have not watched this film I think you are going to be blown away by what you see. In fact, Spellbound shows things that you would not even see if you went to the National Spelling Bee. Even the parents of kids that are in the Spelling Bee have never seen it the way that Spellbound shows it. I cannot really tell you much about Spellbound without crushing the effects of the film, but I can tell you that it is a most see film. I am sure that most people watch very few documentaries a year. If you are going to only watch one of them this year then this has to be it. It is going to show you things that you have never seen. After all, is that not what a documentary is suppose to do.

The movie Spellbound is like no other. I really cannot say enough good things about this film. I have never really seen a documentary that I would tell others to go watch, however, this is one of them. Spellbound really is going to let you see what it is like to be up there in front of all those people during a National Spelling Bee. If you have never been in one of these Spelling Bees then you do not know what it is like. In fact, this may be your only change to see it through the eyes of the competitors. I love the movie Spellbound, and I feel like you should go give it a try if you have never seen it. It is more than likely a movie that you will not want to own, but you will want to see it at least once.
