Everquest II was released in 2004, it takes over from the original Everquest game but is set five hundred years into the future but is set five hundred years in the future and it has drastically changed since the original. The moon Luclin was smashed and some of it rained down on the world of Norrath and many of the planes have closed. Everquest II has two towns where you can start off from one good, called Qeynos and the other bad called Freeport. Which ever one you choose to make your home you will be unwelcomed in the other. In these towns they have designated areas for each race. The game play in sort of the same as the original game with cooperating with other users to fight monsters and other enemies as well as taking quests and having a variety of trades and classes. With Everquest II the graphic engine has really been upgraded and hosts a beautiful collection of scenes. In this one you can get magic carpets and trained griffins to fly so you can move around the world in much ease.

Everquest II also has an outstanding character creation tool that beats the likes of Warcraft. Some of the things you can do with your character while making it is choosing different hair styles and clothing as well as pin point the sizes of its features like eyes, nose and overall size so you can make a character as truly as unique as you are. Another great feature of Everquest II is the voices, there is over 130 hours of dialogue with the use of over 1700 actors some of the actors are Heather Graham and Christopher Lee.
