When you are talking about radical feminism, you are talking about the focus on male supremacy that opposes women. When you are talking about radical feminism, the word radical means going to the root. So in a way, radical feminism is a way of going to the root of the problem. The problem being the way that women are being treated by men who try to oppress them. When you hear women speaking about radical feminism you tend to hear the words male supremacy a lot. This is because women feel that men as a whole are treated better than they are, thus this give men the power to hold them down. This tends to happen in more than one way and in more than one location. Two of the most common places to see this is in the home and the workplace. At home when talking about radical feminism, it is felt that the man (the husband) controls the home. Thus he is keeping the women suppressed in more ways than one. Although this does not happen in all homes, and if you look back though time it happens less now than it ever has before. The real problem that women face is being suppressed at the work place. This is because a long time ago women where not the ones that went to work. They were suppose to say home and keep the house, however, that would not last forever.

When we are dealing with issues about radical feminism, you have to talk about the work place. Because women have not been fighting the battle at the work place as long, it is still an issue. Women have a lot more power at home than they use to. However, at the work place, many women still feel like they are being over powered by the males. This is because most heads of companies are males and they tend to side with other males, and look at women in the wrong way. At work women should not have to deal with sexual harassment,however, it is something that happens way too often. This is one of the main issues when talking about radical feminism. Women want to challenge the system that keeps them down, and they feel like the work place is one of the best places to start. I feel like that is the right idea, women should feel safe when they go into the work place. Too many women have to worry about what they say and do in the work place. Some of the worst cases women have to worry about being raped in the work place. When talking about radical feminism, rape is one of the words that comes up a lot. The feminism movement looks at rape as another way to control women and for man to show their supremacy over women. Rape is wrong and should be something that does not happen in a perfect world. However, there are some sick people out there that will do it anyway. One day maybe we can do away with rape all together and then we will be one step closer to dealing with feminism issues.

The issues about radical feminism are a touchy subject that many people do not want to deal with. However, it is something that is not going away and has to be handled before it gets out of control. We have to stick up for everyone and make sure that everyone is treated the same. This goes for men and women alike. We can not let these issues divide us, we have to come up with a way to handle it and deal with it the right way.
