One of the best Academy Award winning films that I ever saw was The Constant Gardener. This movie was about a man named Justin, who finds out about his wife being murdered, and then he goes out to find out the reason behind her death. The Constant Gardener is a movie that you are never going to forget because of all the stars in this film that helped move the plot along. The main stars of the film are Ralph Fiennes, Rachel Weisz, Danny Huston, and Bill Nighy. I am always looking for movies to add to my DVD collection that are classics, and The Constant Gardener is going to turn out to be one of those movies. Whenever you see a movie, like this one, you can always tell if it is going to be a great movie, or if it is going to be one of those movies that people forget about in a few days. After just a few seconds into the film, you can tell that this movie is going to be big. You know how some movies try and have a deep plot, but somehow they just cannot pull it off? Well, The Constant Gardener is one of the movies that can pull it off. I think that it helps that the movie is based on a book. I feel like when a movie is based on a great book, then the movie turns out to be better.

The main story to The Constant Gardener is about a man named Justin who is a civil servant working for the British High Commission in Kenya. Early in the movie, Justin sends his wife off with one of her friends named Dr. Bluhm on a trip to a very remote location. Later on, however, Justin hears that his wife's body, and the body of her truck driver, have been found. The friend, however, Dr. Bluhm is no where to be found. From that point in the movie, Justin goes to identify the corps of his mangled up dead wife. At that point in the movie, it goes back and shows you a little more about the relationship he had with his wife. Of course, as the movie The Constant Gardener goes on, you see that there is more to the movie than meets the eye. This is one of those movies that you do not see the end coming, and it is a big surprise. This movie, I feel, is a movie that should be in everyone's DVD collection. That is because I think there is no other movie like it. It always seems like when a movie wins an Academy Award, that the movie has a plot so different than all the movies that came before it. However, this is getting harder and harder to do now, because all the good ideas for movies have already been done. Of course, The Constant Gardener found a book that was great, that no one had made a movie about, and turned it into something that you are never going to forget. The Constant Gardener is one of those movies that you are going to watch a few times just to get the full effect of the movie. However, you may not want to watch it too many times, because the movie itself is over two hours long.

The Constant Gardener is one of those movies that would be good to own on DVD. You are going to want to watch it more than once, and if you rent the movie, you are just going to have to go out and rent it again. As you can probably guess, this is not worth the money to do. It is a fact that, in the money it takes to rent a movie twice, you could go out and buy the movie to add to your DVD collection. This way you leave yourself open to be able to watch the movie more than once, if you need to. After all, you do not want to get stuck with a late fee on a movie that you forgot to return do you?
