I kind of hate to say it, but I am a person that enjoys a good musical. However, I enjoy a great comedy even better, so when I heard about The Blues Brothers movie I was very excited. This is a movie that is really a one of a kind, and it takes the comedy film and smashes it together with a musical. Now, there is really nothing funny about blues, but when you got John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd singing the Blues, then you got something. The Blues Brothers soundtrack was one of the best that I have ever heard from a comedy movie before, and it featured songs from James Brown, Ray Charles, and Aretha Franklin. In fact, The Blues Brothers movie was so good that it had a little bit of something for everyone in it. This movie had everything from singing, to jokes, right down to full out car chases. Now, if you cannot find something you like in The Blues Brothers movie, then you are a very hard person to please. Of course, I am not the only person that loved The Blues Brothers. In fact, people all over the world liked it. The movie grossed 115 million dollars when it was finally all done with. In fact, it took in almost 9 million dollars its first week in the box office. That made it the 10th highest grossing movie for that year. I have never seen a movie like this before, but I loved it anyway.

So what is the movie, The Blues Brothers, about? It is about two brothers (hence the name Blues Brothers), and their mission to save a orphanage that they grow up in. This orphanage is going through foreclosure, and they need to raise 5,000 dollars in order to pay the taxes on it. So, what are The Blues Brothers going to do to get that kind of money? Well, they do the only thing that they know how to do, play the blues. During the movie The Blues Brothers try to get their blues band back together to perform a concert to raise the money. Of course, this is a comedy movie so there is a lot of mishaps that happen during the movie. In fact, throughout the whole movie they are being chased by police, military, and even the SWAT team. Also, at one point they are being chased by a Neo Nazis, and that are out to destroy them. Of course, they are not the only ones after The Blues Brothers, because there is also a Country Band that is out to get them as well. The movie is very well done, and is full of great comedy. However, I do like the way they do the comedy in this film. The humor is a little over the top, but not by much. If fact, the movie is not so unbelievable that it could never happen, but at the same time it really could never happen. I think that is what makes a great movie, and The Blues Brothers pulled it off great. Of course, whenever you have a great movie like this, they always go and make another one, and later on the movie The Blues Brothers 2000 came out.

I love the movie The Blues Brothers, and after looking at the sells of the movie you can see that lots of people enjoyed it. It is always important to me to find movies that are great to watch, but at the same time, you feel like you have been on a journey. I do not like movies that do not pull you into the action, but you do not have to worry about that with this movie. The Blues Brothers knows just how to get you into the action. During some of the car chase scenes, you are going to feel like you are really in the car with The Blues Brothers, and that is a great feeling.
