This is a game that has been played at parties for just about ever and can be a lot of fun to play. Limbo is a party game that most people have played at one point in their life. In fact, lots of kids use to play it in school, but it has also been played on many tropical vacations over the course of history. If you have never played Limbo before, then you do not know what you are missing. This is a game that can get all your friends involved in a game. To have a fun Limbo game you should at least have 5 or 6 people. However, the more people you have going, the better. All you need to have to play is people, music, and a long pole (the pole can be anything that is long and straight). So the way Limbo works is two people hold the pole up in the air, about at their chest. Then you play music and everyone gets in a line. Then you take turns trying to go under the pole without touching it. Every time everyone goes under the bar you lower it a little bit more. Then everyone tries to go under the pole again. Of course, there is a catch, you have to go under the pole leaning backwards. You have to be up on your feet leaning back to go under. Usually your chest is going to be the thing that touches the pole. If you hit the pole, or fall over, then you are out of the game.

Of course, there are a few different ways that you can play Limbo. First of all, you do not have to have two people holding the par. They do make stands that you can put the Limbo bar on. In fact, they sell whole Limbo kits. However, if you do not want to buy a Limbo kit, then you can just have two people hold a pole evenly for everyone to go under. When everyone has gone through, then someone else comes to hold the pole, so the pole holders get a chance to go under. After they go under, they can come back to holding the pole. To make the game go faster, the first two people to be out of the game can become the pole holders so you do not have to keep switching off. This is a game that is funner to play in large groups because it is a party game after all. If you have never played before, you can buy a Limbo kit and practice, but do keep in mind you have a lot more fun playing with other people. Usually you will have drinks and music going while everyone is playing. So it is just a fun way for everyone to let loose and have a good time. After all, that is what you want to do at a party.
