The Bumpy Life of a Post Wedding Amherst Couple

Added: 11/19/2005

A post wedding Amherst couple has a lot to think about, fight about, and laugh about. What many couples aren't prepared for, though, is the common drop-off in the quality and quantity of sex Amherst couples have in the period right after tying the knot. After the surreal whirlwind of wedding planning, the ceremony itself, and the honeymoon, many couples experience a crash as they return to reality.

Many a wedding Amherst hosts leads to a happy life for both bride and groom.  However, some couples are surprised by the realities of married life.  Most people who have the kind of wedding Amherst children dream of are full of hope and idealism for their future life together, with big plans for every arena of their lifestyle including sex.  However, the sex Amherst newlyweds have isn't always as frequent or as satisfying as they might hope.  The intensity of married life can put a lot of emotional pressure on the newly-married couple and can lead to an increase in arguments and squabbles.  Newlyweds have a lot of negotiating to do before they can learn to share their life peacefully, and this period of figuring out boundaries can make for a nasty shock.

A wedding Amherst hosts is much like a wedding anywhere.  The bride looks lovely and radiantly happy, and the groom looks dapper and proud.  A wedding Amherst style is a true American wedding.  However, like any American couple entering into matrimony, most Amherst couples aren't really prepared for what they are heading into when they say "I do" at the altar.  Even the strongest romantic partnership can see a very bumpy few months right after the knot is officially, legally tied forever.

We've all heard the phrase "the honeymoon is over," but the realities of coming home after the romantic whirlwind of an Amherst wedding and exotic honeymoon can still be a surprise.  Very few brides or grooms are prepared for the difficulties of finding time for lovemaking and romance as a regular part of their new marriage.  The sex Amherst couples have right after marriage can make for some of the least frequent, least satisfying physical romantic encounters which Amherst couples will ever have.  There are two major reasons for this drop in sexual activity after a wedding.  The first is due to the adjustment period as the post-wedding reality of married life begins to set in.  The second is due to the increase in arguments between the romantic partners; after squabbling all day, it is much easier to turn out the lights and roll away from your spouse than it is to roll towards them and try to make up.

After the wedding Amherst couples have been planning, talking about, and looking forward to for such a long anticipatory period, it can be very difficult to face the fact that the wedding is over and regular life has begun.  The experience of planning and executing a wedding ceremony is such a surreal whirlwind of experiences and an overwhelming crush of decisions, inter-familial and intra-familial negotiations, and other balancing acts that it can leave even the most vibrant, loving couple completely exhausted and worn out.

After the splendor of the wedding and honeymoon, there is an inevitable crash.  This crash hits the couple when they are alone together at the beginning of a long stretch of road known as the rest of their lives.  No wonder many couples become uneasy and even frightened of their future together during this period of their partnership.
