Well, I did not think that it could be done, but they proved me wrong. When I saw the movie The Bourne Identity, I did not think that they would be able to make another movie as good as that one for a long time to come, however, only two years later, The Bourne Supremacy comes out. This is the best sequel to a great film that I have ever seen. That is saying a lot too, because usually when you have a great movie that comes out the next one sucks. This, however, is not the case with The Bourne Supremacy. Once again, this movie follows after the novel by the same name. I think, yet again, that is what made this movie so great. Let's look at it like this. First of all, we know that movies based on books tend to be better. Now, a lot of times when a great book gets turned into a movie, the movie does great. Of course, after that they want to make another movie to follow up on the first film, but there is not another book. Well, this leaves Hollywood to come up with a great story to follow the movie. Usually the storyline is pretty good, although, it is never as good as the novel. This is because novels are so much more detailed. The second film never gets noticed, because the first film was such a hit. Well, the good news for The Bourne Supremacy is the fact that another novel was made, so the movie could be based on that. Thus, this left us with another great film to watch, that was just as good as the first one.

The Bourne Supremacy actually did better in the box office than the first one. After people read the great reviews about the first one, they had to see how the second one was going to end. The Bourne Supremacy ended up grossing over 288 million dollars. Now that is a lot of tickets sold. Almost all the reviews that you could possibly find of this movie are going to be good. However, there are some critics that like to pick at things, and they cannot accept the fact that it is a great movie. A lot of people did not like the camera work that was done on the film, because it was very shaky. In a movie of high action you want to be able to see what is going on, with The Bourne Supremacy (at times) it was hard to tell what was happening. However, I do not feel like this was a big problem in the film. To me it gave me a sense that I was out there in the action myself. It gave me the feeling that I too was being shot at, and had to run for my life. Now that, to me, is a good movie. Not only did I buy a ticket to a movie, I bought a ticket to become one with the movie, and take a trip around the world and back again. Wow! That is a lot to do for an eight dollar movie ticket. Now, this last comment I have to make, is neither here nor there, but I do feel like movie tickets are starting to cost too much. It seems like it might be easier to just go out, by the movie, and watch it over and over again.

The Bourne Supremacy is a movie that you are going to want to own. I do feel like movie tickets cost too much, but this was one of those movies that you really need to see in the box office. Sometimes I feel like I wasted two hours of my life whenever I watch a movie, and I want it back. This was not the case, however, with The Bourne Supremacy. I felt like I really got my moneys worth, and that is something that I can say that I am very happy with. So go give The Bourne Supremacy a chance. This is a movie that is not only going to blow you away, but it is going to drag you into it as well.
