The Amazingly Funny Ben Stiller

It is hard to determine why (maybe because we all work to much), but we love to laugh and let lose when we watch a movie. There is no actor today that can make people laugh the way that Ben Stiller does in a movie. This is because he gives every movie that he is in 100%, and people really react to that. Most of the movies that he does are the screwball comedies, but that is what he does best. When people go to see a Ben Stiller movie, that is what they want to see and that is what they expect to see.
Most of the movies that he does are the screwball comedies, but that is what he does best.

Ben Stiller (full name is Benjamin Edward Stiller) was born November 30, 1965. He is the son of Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller, both who are comedians and actors themselves. I guess it is safe to say, that is where his love for comedy comes from. Ben Stiller is not just an actor, he is also a film producer and a director. Over the course of his career he has starred in many movies and made even more cameo appearances in many comedies. He is an actor that never gives up and wants to make people laugh, and that is why he is still making movies to this day. With a long list of movies under his belt, the door is open for him to star in any movie that he wants to. Ben Stiller and his movies have already grossed over 1.38 billion dollars throughout his career. That is quite a bit for such a young actor. We can only hope that he will keep making these great movies.

Even though he is a movie actor now, he got his start on Broadway. Ben Stiller landed a role in John Guare's “The House of Blue Leaves.” This was a great play that would go on to win four Tony Awards. Of course, Ben Stiller did not stop there, he went on to write and appear on a season of Saturday Night Live. This happened back in 1989, but did not last long. After only five shows, Saturday Night Live did not want him to write any more episodes for the show, because of that he left. That did not mark the end of his writing, and he went on to make the Elvis Stories. These fictitious short films where considered a big success. When making these stories Ben Stiller got to co-star with Mike Myers, Andy Dick, and John Cusack, which I think was one reason these short films did so good. After that, Ben Stiller went on to write a film for MTV called Back to Brooklyn. Of course, Ben Stiller did not get as big as he is today just off that. He also has a lot of great movies that he starred in. Such films include There's Something About Marry, Mystery Men, Zoolander, Dodgeball, and Meet the Parents. His hit film Meet the Parents went on to have a sequel named Meet the Fockers. Ben Stiller also starred in Along Came Polly and Starsky and Hutch. Even with all these movies that he has made, Ben Stiller will not stop making movies. This most resent movie to come out was The Heartbreak Kid, and it has been doing very well in the box office.

Ben Stiller will go on to make great movies for a long time to come. When you are as funny as he is, there is no stopping the amount of movies you can make. One of the funniest movies he was in to me was Dodgeball, and I hope he keeps making movies like this. He just has what it takes to be in this type of movie, and that is saying a lot because not everyone can pull these types of movies off. Whenever he is in a movie with another great actor or actress, you have a winner on your hands, and you can bet that movie is going to be a box office smash hit. If you have not seen any of his movies, do yourself a favor and go out and see them tonight. You will not be sorry you did, just make sure that you are ready to laugh and have a good time.
