Of course, when you have a great movie like Sunset Boulevard there are more than just a few people that like it. In fact, when the movie was first released it was nominated for eleven Academy Awards. Out of the ones that Sunset Boulevard was nominated for, it won three of them. That is really good for any movie to be nominated for that many awards and win that many. In fact, that is hard for even movies today to be able to win that many of them. Today Sunset Boulevard is still accepted as a great American classic film. It is not easy to be accepted as a great American film, but once you are you know that you had a great movie on your hands. Not only did it win a lot of awards, but it also was on the American Film Institute list of the best 100 movies of all time. On this great list, Sunset Boulevard was ranked in the 12th spot which is really good out of 100 movies. So what made this movie such a great film to watch? Well, it was, of course, the great storyline that went with this great film, however, it was also so much more than that. This movie also was full of great actors that really help move this movie along. In fact, the movie star, William Holden, plays a down on his luck screen writer looking for his big break. Of course, this movie had so many great actors in it that is is hard to name them all. If you want to know all of them, you will have to rent the movie.

Now I know that not everyone loves black and white movies or really old movies for that matter. Usually I am one of those people, I hate watching old movies. However, this movie was not just any old movie, after all, it was Sunset Boulevard. This is a movie that set the stage for other big movies to come after it. In fact, this movie is so good that at times you are going to forget that you are watching an old movie. You are going to think you are watching a new movie without color. Of course, Sunset Boulevard does not need color to make it a great movie, and I guess that is why it is so great to watch. Any movie that can take you out of your house and pull you into the movie world is a great movie, if you ask me. I never thought that I would love watching older movies, but I guess that shows how much I know. I also think that some kids may even like watching this movie. Sunset Boulevard is one of those films that seems like everyone can get into. I know that you may hear that about a lot of movies, but this is one that I think that you are really going to feel like it is a great film. The next time you are looking for a great movie to rent from the movie store, I would pick up Sunset Boulevard. It is like no other movie that you have seen before, and that makes it a one of a kind movie.

When you have a movie that is not like any other movie that you have ever seen, then you know that it is going to have fresh new ideas. Even years later, this movie still has fresh ideas, and I think this really does not have to do with the story. I think this has to be because of the great director and the great actors in this movie. Let's fact it, when you have a special group of people working together on a movie, then you know that no one is ever going to be able to top it again. In fact, it is going to be hard for anyone to even be able to come close to making the same movie again. I guess this is why so many people hate remakes of movies. Sunset Boulevard needs no remake, ever.
