Some elite fitness training

Fitness, like most other industries in the information age, has made great financial and technological strides in the past few decades. The days of simple weight training and bad nutrition are well behind us. In fact, human bodies are read like charts by well trained doctors and nutritionists, and honed to chiseled perfection.
Fitness is a multi-billion dollar industry, puffed up like character of some of its steroid bloated enthusiasts. These days the fitness industry has gained many advantages in the way it operates. Long gone are the Charles Atlas ads on the back of comic books. Long gone are the bad eating habits of most fitness conscious people. In fact, elite fitness training rules the day. Indeed, most people can go down to an elite fitness club like a high end Bally’s or a state of the art Gold’ Gym and have a work out plan drawn up specifically for them by their own personal nutritionist and their own personal trainer. Elite fitness training, a luxury once afforded to only the richest of the rich like tycoons, politicians, and Hollywood celebrities has become a very affordable commodity for most anyone. Besides the fact that the elite fitness clubs offer state of the art machines, weights, and equipment, most offer fitness classes and training. As if that weren’t enough, you can get detailed fitness plans and work out regimens drawn up on sight, from novice to beginner. They will literally walk you through and monitor your progress, from weakling to athlete, as if you were an Olympian training for your shot at the Gold medal. When you are done working out you can usually catch a swim in a heated pool, sauna, or a hot tub. Elite fitness clubs often offer masseuses, or if not you can certainly find a massage parlor relatively inexpensively. There are even sports physician clinics for sports injuries for weekend warriors incurred by the average Joe. All in all, elite fitness training is not a service that only the elite can afford. Elite fitness training is only elite as far as the service itself, it is no longer as select a club as it once was. Of course, it’s not like having an elite fitness center built into your house with an indoor pool and tennis courts and the like, but usually you don’t have to travel too far to find and elite fitness center.

The last piece of the elite fitness training regimen is normally nutrition. Nutrition, like fitness, has advanced as a far more exact science than it used to be. Even fast food chains serve health conscious food, such as McDonalds, and Kentucky Fried Chicken is referred to as KFC to avoid the negative stereotype associated with fried foods. While most people cannot afford their own personal nutritionists, it’s not that difficult to divine and afford a diet that will help you achieve any fitness goal. There are thousands of diet books available at the library and online. Healthy food is not hard to find either. Every supermarket seems to carry diet conscious affordable food like Weight Watchers and Lean Cuisine meals. There are even healthy versions of saturated fatty foods such as mayonnaise, ranch dressing, and cheese. Simply enforcing the diet is much easier as diet food itself has come so far that the taste difference is not that vast. Of course, self discipline is another issue entirely, but getting ones self in shape is not that hard. Elite fitness training is affordable and available to all.
