With no physical manifestations of the problem, even informal diagnosis becomes difficult for those with security concerns for this friend or family member. There are many negative results of being a person with an addiction involving sex. Most, if not all, the consequences of such an issue result in problems that become apparent as physical manifestations of health problems, aberrant psychological displays as well as many other forms of behavior whose end results are questionable. Generally it's an accepted theme that as long as we're not hurting anyone but ourselves let well enough alone.
