Sexual orientation is a term used when referring to a long lasting emotional, romantic, sexual and/or an affectionate attraction to another human being. While confusion over sexual orientation can result in sexual and other behavioral problems they are not one and the same thing as many people believe. While sexual orientation is not a choice, as once believed by many people, many people choose not to recognize their orientation due to societal stigmas. Behavioral problems, common results of frustrated emotions can occur.
