If you have never heard of the fiction television show called Firefly, I would not be surprised. Firefly was a show that ran on Fox, but is now canceled. However, the movie Serenity picks up where the series ended. The movie was made by Joss Whedon, and he does a great job picking up right where the television series died out. However, the only problem that the movie Serenity faced was the fact that it was not really well known. After all, the series was canceled because it did not get very good ratings. So the only people who really cared to see this movie was the people that used to watch the television show. Even with not having great box office numbers the people that did go see Serenity gave it good reviews. Of course, this does not mean that Serenity did not make any money in the box office because when it opened it was ranked number two in the box office. However, it was not up against really good movies. The movie ended up wining a lot of awards, and you did not have to watch the Firefly series to know what is going on. However, if you have been a fan of the Firefly show then you are going to get a lot more out of this movie. For the people that did not watch the show, like me, then you are going to leave feeling like you saw a good movie. Not a great movie, but a good one. The movie does have a lot of things going for it which is nice. It does have a lot of action in it, which helps move the story along pretty nicely. The great actors that are in the movie really help as well. In fact, they are the ones that really drive this movie. Although the storyline is pretty good, it is not great. It leaves you feeling like there was just something missing from the story. Of course, this is going to be a movie that I am sure your whole family is going to like if you give Serenity a chance and rent it.

Serenity is a movie that has its main plot focused on a captain and his crew on a transport ship. The crew is part of the army that fought in the Unification War. However, their side is the side that lost the war. I think that this is a great take on a movie because usually you are always on the winning side of a war. It is cool to take a look at the other side of a war for a change. This is why the movie Gone With the Wind did so good. You got to see the Civil War play out through the eyes of the South. The movie is about their lives, and the petty crimes they commit to stay alive. Of course, this all changes when they pick up a passenger that has a few dark secrets. The story is good, but like I said before, the movie does refer back to the show a lot. So if you have never seen it you will be playing check up through the whole movie. I also said that you did not have to watch the show to enjoy the movie. This is true, but I am not going to lie. If you have seen the show you are going to like it better. That is just the way it is.

Serenity, overall, is a good movie, and if you are a fan of the show then you are going to be a big fan of the movie. I did not see anyone get really happy about the movie until I saw a few fans of the show. They were very much into the movie, and I guess this is true for any fan of a show. Of course, I did not watch the show, so Serenity was a movie that just made par with me. It was not great, but it was not bad. It was your normal type movie, and that is why I cannot tell you to go out and buy this film.
