School adoption is something that is very important in India and is helping to improve the schools that they have there. In India they believe that it is not only the Government responsibility, but the citizens too, to help improve the quality of their schools. There are many different things they are trying to improve with the school adoption idea, and I am going to share a few with you right now. First of all, they want to improve the school education as a whole. By doing this the kids can leave school learning more than they ever have before. This will allow the kids to be able to make something of themselves whenever they finally do get out of school. Also, the school adoption program also wants to give kids incentives to go to school, which some kids around the world may not think about. One of these incentives that the school adoption is looking to add, is things like mid-day meals (which in American schools is a called Lunch Break). This will give the kids a reason to want to go to school, and also with eating a meal half way through the day, it would help them learn better. This has been proven to work. If you learn on a full stomach, you are more likely to learn a lot more. Another thing they would like to improve by school adoption would be the school infrastructure. This includes things like state of the art technology. This is something they want to put in all schools all over India.

However, there are a lot of other things they would like to improve by using school adoption. Like they would like to be able to add on and rebuild schools all over the place. This would help be able to get more kids into their schools so that more can learn. Also, some of the school are in need of work, and with school adoption they would be able to fix these schools that need help. This would allow kids to be able to learn better as well. It is hard to learn if you are afraid that the school roof may fall in on your head. School adoption is something that everyone needs to think about really hard. It is only fair that we give kids the same, if not better, chances to learn than what we had as a child growing up. By doing this we could be giving help to a country that may very well need it. School adoption is a good idea, and it is always good to help out people from all over the world.

I know it is hard to think about other schools around the world whenever there may be problems happening in your schools in your area. Let me ask you this, does your school have food for lunch? Does your school have computers and books? Is the school down the road just going to break down and fall in on itself? To most of these questions you are able to answer good, and that means that your schools are not as bad off. However, there are schools out there that do need help, and they need you to adopted them. In America we have things like adopt a highway. Why can we not have something like school adoption? Why can we not help everyone from around the world? Well, we can if we all work together to do so. If we work as a team we can make school adoption real, and do some real good in the world.
