Safe and Fun Weekend Nights for the Young People of Bedford

Bedford is a small community located in the middle of the Dallas metropolitan area. Bedford allows its residents to enjoy its small-town appeal while benefiting from the proximity to a big city. In order to compete with the big-city influences, not all of which the adults think of as "healthy", the City of Bedford has created a special activity for the young people who enjoy some independence, but who also require a fair amount of supervision.
The citizens of Bedford, Texas help the young people in the Middle School and the upper grades of the various elementary schools to discover the benefits of socializing with members of the opposite sex. The City of Bedford furnishes that help by sponsoring a weekly program called Fun Time Line. Thanks to that program, children in grades three through eight have a supervised area in which to spend their Friday and Saturday nights. Throughout the school year the many students plan their weekends around the scheduled events at one or more of the Fun Time Line locations.
On Monday mornings the Bedford chat line is quite busy. At that time the young “socialites” recount with friends the experiences they have had as participants in the most recent Fun Time Line activity. Because the planners of Fun Time Line schedule so many different activities, the Bedford chat line carries a great deal of information.
Sometimes the young people of Bedford will share with friends their satisfaction or lack of satisfaction with certain face painting results. Face painters often sit along the sidelines during the Fun Time Line events. Interested students can then have their faces painted. A number of the female students like to get the sort of face paint that transforms a human face into the face of a feline.
Since the Fun Time Line takes place at 27 different locations, the students of Bedford get to participate in many different contests. Sometimes the young people at a Fun Time Line will have a chance to take part in a dance contest or a karaoke contest. Sometimes, the adults at a Fun Time Line event will oversee the holding of an eating contest.
Games as well as contests give the young people of Bedford a safe method in which to exercise their stored-up energy. Students find that the games at the Fun Time Line offer a wonderful way for a student to relax following a heavy period of studying. Attendees at the Fun Time Line express an increased interest in games whenever they have been studying for final exams.
Sometimes a Fun Time Line evening will include a three-legged race. Sometimes it will include a period during which many Bedford students race up the huge, inflated slide backwards. On occasion, the Fun Time Line schedule will call for a gym guy or other counselor to become the “victim” of some game-playing students. Then the students try to dunk that “victim” in a large dunk tank.
Students who perfect their throwing technique have the most luck with achieving the goal of that dunking game. Such students could win a prize for their throwing at a future community event. The games at a local fundraiser might include a dunking game similar to the one played at Bedford’s popular Fun Time Line.
Whenever a fund-raising event in Bedford features a dunking game, then the town’s younger people stand a good chance at winning the game prize. That is because many of those young people have had a chance to practice their throwing technique on a number of weekend nights. They have taken part in one or more dunking games at a number of the existing Fun Time Line locations.
