Quite often we use the term friend very loosely. However, there are many different friendship types. We may call many people friends but how we view them differs from person to person. There are several ways in which we differentiate friendship types. Generally we distinguish friendships by the levels of trust and confidence we have in other individuals among other things.

When a statement is made that one has "friends", what does that mean? People who simply acknowledge their existents in the world? People they interact with on some sort of a time basis? In order to friendship type people "place" has a lot to do with "type". Are your friends the type that you spend time with outside of a certain place? Maybe friends are those who are always going to be in a certain place.
