Historically, women have always been members of the under class at every level of society; ranking one step behind and one step below their husband or their son. Even when they were members of the ruling or privileged class they were second class citizens of that class. It is only in the truly advanced socialist societies that women have come into true equality. That has been the promise of socialistic feminism.
