Feminism and sex distinction differentiates sex from gender. Said another way, gender may not always be the same as the sex of the individual. Gender equality and sexual indifference have led many feminists to believe in this theory. In this example, sex would mean the very act of having sex and gender would mean the male or the female person. When the two words are used in everyday conversation, they are not specified in this fashion.

When a baby is born or, more commonly, when the six month ultra sound is performed, the question is "What is the sex? What is the Gender?" revealing that most of us consider one to be the other. However, the dull roar of those with Gender Identity Disorder, Feminists, and liberal minded activists is getting louder asking society to see that there is a difference. The idea of Gender Distinction is that Gender and Sex are two different things, and should be treated as such.
