200 years ago feminism rocked society. New generations of feminists have once again raised the bar for settling scores in the male-dominated society. Notable feminists like Betty Friedan and Virginia Woolf were pathfinders to cracking many solutions. It’s high time we recognized their valuable contribution and pays them a silent tribute. These women were not the weaker sex at all…certainly they were fair!

The concept of women rights, as we know it today, did not come out of the blue. Feminism has a long history of intellectual struggle and personal commitment to the ideology of gender equality. Since medieval times, many famous feminist scholars have inspired the idea of equal respect for women. Their struggle has resulted in the movements of feminism that are known to us today.
