Possibilities in Political Astrology are ProfoundPolitical astrology is a scary thought. In political astrology, the future of our parliament, our legislation, our very freedom is at the mercy of the planetary alignments of the day. Can such a thing as astrology really rule anything that is created (such as political parties and legislation) or is it just for people? Maybe astrology could be stretched to provide horoscopes in political astrology.
What else is an Aries though? Can a “thing” be an Aries? Can a political party, for example, be an Aries? Is a political party “born” under a sign? Is there such a thing as political astrology? Should we be hearing the astrologers telling us what is happening today in political astrology? I can hear it now. “Today, in political astrology, with the sun in Aries and the moon in Leo, there will be political fireworks the likes of which, we don’t see more than once every 300 years”!
In political astrology there would surely be a following. If you were a politician, wouldn’t you want to tune in every morning for your horoscope? But then, it may be a little complicated. First, you would need to read your personal horoscope in the newspaper and see what is up in the world of Aries. Then you would need to listen to the horoscope for your political party, which may be something like a Taurus because it was a party that was formed eight years ago on a lovely evening in May. Okay, surely one can combine those two with only a little bit of wrangling. Now, though you will have to listen to the horoscope for the legislative bill that you are about to introduce into parliament today. Okay, well this piece of legislation was “born” last August when your group were all letting off steam with a round of beer. So, your legislation is a Leo. Okay. The political horoscope for your legislation is ruled by the sun. Well, let’s see now. The legislation is ruled by the sun but the political party (which, if you will remember is a Taurus) has its sun in something else. Does the sun sign prevail in this instance? If so, the legislation is headed for success, no matter which political party uses it because all the planets in political astrology are in the right alignment.
Well, now the planets in political astrology must be charted very carefully indeed. A very talented computer programmer will need to be involved here so that the complicated interactions can be mapped perfectly. This way the political horoscope for each politician, their party and their proposed legislations can be sorted out quite nicely. A reading a year ahead for the party can give them the information they need to ensure their success! With the proper political horoscope reading they will know exactly which member of the party should introduce the legislation on exactly which day of the year!
Of course the opposing political party will not be far behind in. They will have their own computer programmers and their own political astrologers doing up their party’s political horoscope too. In political astrology the when, where and how of the old business of politics could be determined in an all-new way! Just imagine!
Well, obviously political horoscopes would be enough to give anyone a headache. Surely then, “things” cannot be born under astrological signs. It almost one wonder if astrology can possibly affect anything at all, let alone people!
