Port Aransas Texas is a well kept secret, as many people have never heard of the place.  Texas natives know of the area quite well as it is home to many great hotels, quaint resorts, bed and breakfasts, and great fishing opportunities.  The area is perhaps most well known for its fishing opportunities, because the fishing is outstanding in the area.  For those that come to fish, Port Aransas hotels will house them comfortably until they are ready to go home with their catch.

For those that come to Port Aransas for fishing, they'll have a good time.  Offshore charters are very common in the area, and can be scheduled in advance, or a lot of the time on a moment's notice.  Fishermen usually are in search of bull fish, tuna, wahoo, ling, snapper, or shark.  Of course there are other fish out there that are often sought, but these are the most common.  These are the fish that can usually be found in the area, to the delight of all those that come to fish and stay in Port Aransas hotels.
