There are many reasons to go to a party. Maybe you need some down time, maybe you just want to get out and cut lose, or maybe you just want to go out and get drunk. Of course many people go to parties to meet new people of the opposite sex and hopefully make out with them. There is one party game that can kill both birds with one stone. So if your looking for a fun game to take part in, and you are at that party for these reasons, you have to play spin the bottle.

Many people play spin the bottle at parties. Some think of it as only a game that middle school kids would play, but that doesn't have to be the case. Its a fun party game that should be played with several people. You really should have six or more players to get the best results, when playing this game. After getting together the members who are playing, they should sit in a circle, with a bottle in the middle. Then everyone most choose who goes first. The person who is chosen then must spin the bottle on the ground, who ever the open end of the bottle is pointing at, the spinner must kiss. Then the person who receives the kiss is the next spinner. These are the basic game rules, of course there are exceptions to the rules on how the game is played.

Before the game starts, you should state all the rules of the game. Deciding these in advance is a must when you play spin the bottle. You have to tell everyone what happens if the bottle lands on the same sex. In must cases the spinner still has to kiss that person, particularly when this happens with two women. There are, however, exceptions made for men. Its your game, so you should play it the way you want to. If you play spin the bottle you must choose if you want the people to kiss in front of everyone or if they are allowed privacy. Also declare if certain people don't have to kiss, because of relationship problems. This is suppose to be a fun game, so lets not hurt anyones feelings while playing.

Now if the bottle spins and lands on the same person, and they have to kiss more then once, there are special rules here too. The must common rule is that every kiss after the first one must be more dirty. If the first one was a peck on the lips, the second one wold need to have tongue. As you continue to play spin the bottle, this will happen more and more. This will cause the the kisses to become longer and more intense each time. Be sure that everyone is aware of this before they start the game. You don't want anyone to get a bad feeling about something while your playing spin the bottle. As said before, the game is intended to be fun, not to hurt anyones feelings, so play with a little respect.

Play spin the bottle at a party for something a little different. This is not your typical party game any more, but you would be happy to see how many people would love to play it. This game is not for everyone and some should not play. If you are in a relationship where this type of activity may hurt the other persons feeling you should not play spin the bottle. Also as another warning, you should not pay this type of game if there is a family member in the circle with you. You may say, that you kiss your sister all the time because she is family. Remember as the game goes on, these kisses will become longer and more intense. Keep that in mind before playing this game with a sister or brother. The only point that I cant stress enough, is making sure that everyone knows all the rules. This could help avoid something bad from happening. Keep all these tips in mind, and you can have fun playing your new party game. There is still a little kid in all of us.
