Pictionary Is A Fun Party Drawing Game

One of the best entertainment party games out on the market to day would have to be Pictionary. This is an older game that was published back in 1985 and is still be played today. It is a very easy game to learn, but a hard game to master. The whole goal of the game is to try and guess a word by what your teammates draw on a board. You are not allowed to talk in this game, only draw pictures, but that is what makes Pictionary such a great game to play. If you have never played this game before I suggest you do it, because you do not know what your missing.

One of my favorite party games of all time has to be Pictionary. This is a game that has been around for a long time (since 1985) and is still being played in houses around the world. This is a game with a simple goal, but with a twist thrown in there. When you play Pictionary, all you are trying to do is get your teammates to say a word that appears on a card that you have drawn. However, there are a few rules that you have to follow. First you are not allow to talk or move your lips at all, once you draw that card you have to stop all talking to your teammates. The only clues that you can give them to what the word is, you have to draw on the board. Of course, there are a few thing that you are not allowed to draw. First of all, you are not allowed to put any letters or numbers of any kind into your drawing. Besides that you are allowed to pretty much draw anything you want to. As you draw the pictures or group of picture that represents your word, your teammates will yell out what they think the word is. Your teammates have to guess the word before you run out of time. This is the whole game, but it is a lot of fun. Some of the pictures people try to draw are very funny.

One thing that makes Pictionary so hard is the time limit. Lots of people who are good at drawing think that they will be great at Pictionary (which could very well be the case). However, you are on a time limit, so you do not have a lot of time to sit there and draw a great picture. In fact, usually people sick to drawing stick figures and things like that. The game is easy enough for a kid to play, but can be hard enough for adults. Lots of times it is hard to come on with things to draw to represent you word. This is what makes the game so challenging, but fun at the same time. Many people get very into playing Pictionary, in fact, lots of people play every weekend. This is a game that they play with their family and friends. In fact, it makes a great game to play when the whole family gets together. It also makes a great game to play if your family has a game night. You know a night where everyone chooses a game that they want to play and you sit down as a family and play it. This does not happen as much anymore as it use to when I was younger. Many families are too busy all the time to sit down and play a board game. I think that this is very sad, and we should try to spend time together, and Pictionary is just the game to make that happen.

Pictionary is one of the best party games that you can buy. Most people have already played it, and if they have not, they have at least heard of it. When you got a game that is that well know, then you have a great game on your hands. It does not matter if you are playing it with your friends on a weekend get together or if you are playing it with your family on a family game night. This is a game that should be in your game line up. I hope that you will give Pictionary a chance because you will see what I mean. If you have not already went out and bought this game, then you should go out and get it right away. This is a game that everyone can enjoy, and that is hard to come by.
