Partying is perhaps one of the most sought after activities of humankind. No matter the culture or social standing relaxation and partying seem to go hand in hand. There are those groups that frown on the stereotypical partying theme but even they manage, within the confines of their beliefs, to celebrate. Partying means a celebration no matter how expressed.
The purity test was conceived of and implemented by those societies seeking to keep their women pure and virginal until it came time to lose all that under the ministrations of their wedded mate. These groups came up with the purity test to rate sexual purity and the recipients knew that they had better have the right answers or they could face any of various egregious punishments. Not the least of which was to be deemed unfit for marriage.
The social applications of giving the purity tests have altered with the passage of time. Changes in mindset and societal expectations regarding behavior have made the purity test of ore only fit for display in a museum. However, an increased interest in the purity test amongst those people who like partying and social gatherings has kept them from disappearing altogether.
Partying often necessitates the supplying of entertainment and partying with questionnaires geared towards revealing inner 'truths' about the partiers or test takers, whichever term is deemed most descriptively applicable, usually creates an atmosphere rife with laughter and good cheer.
While there are certain generally expected standards applied in the creation of the purity test and there are certain well known ones to be found on the web, the proliferation of tests over the past twenty to thirty years can be described as nothing sort of staggering.
A particularly well known purity test is The Unisex Purity Test or as it's become more popularly known the Purity Test. Ironically this test dubbed as being unisex was originally created as two parts of the whole. There was a list of questions for the males taking the test and a separate list of questions for the females taking the test. Eventually the two came together to form one single listing of questions and now the Purity Test boasts 2000 questions asked equally of both men and women.
For those seeking to find the purity test for either partying or some other reason a good place to start is The Armory. The website to locate this repository of purity tests is armory.com/tests/. As previously noted there are many that can be accessed and/or taken directly on the internet. And partying with these purity tests can be a blast as well as a good social ice breaker should there be any shy or new people at the party that may perhaps need a way to feel more comfortable.
The purity test seems to be most popular with those aged thirteen through forty, that age group stereotypically viewed as being the most interested in dating. Before and after those two age delineations hormone levels are less intense and not so single mindedly gearing the body to find a partner with whom to engage in sexual interactions.
In addition to being good entertainment value while partying these tests have other social applications of modern significance. Many of the results are posted to online profiles; some have been used in gender and other studies, while some people use the results to help them focus on self-improvement issues.
While deemed by many as being stupid or a waste of time it may seem surprising how many people actually pay attention to the results of these tests. It's not hard to understand that they have great social use both within the realm of the serious in addition to the realm of partying.
